Matt has been thrilling BASS clients for a few years part time and as a coach for our instructor training courses. We are pleased he will be a full time member of the BASS Team in winter 2023. He is based in Courchevel, but is available across the 3 Valleys for Ski & snowboarding lessons. Matt worked and trained with ESF Courchevel 1850 before completing the BASI Level 4 International Ski Teaching Diploma at 23 and has full French equivalence. He also has the highest level snowboarding qualification  and is one of a very few to do so. After a many years of playing in the snow Matt decided to get a “proper job” and joined the Army, commissioning from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He never really left the mountains however and was able to race, coach and instruct for the Army. Having decided that life in the mountains is more fun than a “proper job”, Matt is now  living in the 3 Valleys  bringing his vast technical knowledge and ability to teach all ages and any level to help you get the most from your time on snow.
