British Alpine Snowsports School is more than a Ski School, it is a specialist ski instructor training centre full of the most highly-qualified BASI ISTD instructors.
Not only that, all courses are assigned a BASI Examiners – the people that teach the teachers!
Méribel - Three Valleys
Train as a ski or snowboard instructor in the world’s largest ski area.
We offer the ski instructor qualifications of BASI (British Association of Snowsport Instructors) Candidates on the eleven week ski instructor course will sit the Ski Level 1 and Ski Level 2 qualifications. These are modular and so as well as the five-day Ski Level 1 exam, you will sit the Child Protection in Sports & Leisure, 35 hours of Ski School experience and a BASI-approved first-aid course. Alongside the ten-day Ski Level 2 exam, you will then log a further 35 hours of Ski School experience. Your BASS Mentor will guide you through the entire process using cutting edge training practices and online facilities. Experience in the mountains is everything and BASS have more of it than anyone.

There are some pretty compelling reasons for joining the BASS/SnowSkool ski & snowboard instructor course in Three Valleys. First up, your lovely SnowSkool team has secured some lovely catered chalets in Méribel ... just a short walk from all the shops, bars & restaurants in the centre. Think en-suite bedrooms, friendly chalet hosts and large, comfortable lounges with roaring fireplaces!
Another reason is the location; Méribel is a fantastic town with great shops, bars & restaurants and an insane nightlife. More importantly than that, it is at the centre of The Three Valleys which, with 600km of piste connecting Méribel up to Courchevel, Les Menuires and Val Thorens, is the largest ski area in the world!
