Dave has been with BASS since 2015, first as a trainee and then as an instructor once receiving his ISTD qualification in 2018. As well as working in Val D'isere, Tignes and the 3 Valleys, he has also instructed in Switzerland, Italy and Australia. During the summer Dave works as a surf instructor, personal trainer and a mobility and rehabilitation coach in Cornwall

From Wigan in the Northwest of England Steve founded BASS Val D'Isere & Tignes in 2002. He has been a qualified ski teacher for 40 years, a full cert for 35 of those and a BASI trainer of ski instructors for for 22 years. Steve has worked all over the world teaching people to ski, guiding and exploring in places like New Zealand, Argentina and most of Europe. He now lives in Norway when he is not working in one of the BASS resorts.

Joe will be operating in Val D'Isere and Tignes.He joined the team in 2015, he has many years of teaching experience working with ski schools from USA, Switzerland and France. He grew up in Bournemouth but has made a permanent home for himself and his family in Tignes since 2012. I started skiing when I was 4 years old, we went on a family ski trip to Borovets in Bulgaria, it was the first time any of my family skied and everyone loved it straight away, so from then on we went on at least one family trip every year. When I finished Uni I decided to do a winter season and I have been living in the mountains ever since.

Andrew’s first experience of teaching skiing was at 15 years old as a race coach. He has been a member of the national ski racing team and has since coached many national ski team members, progressing to the performance director of the British Paralympic Alpine Team. Has was the British Paralympic Alpine Team Leader for the Sochi 2014 Winter Paralympics. Andrew holds the top ski teaching qualifications with BASI, PSIA and IASI. He spent 27 years as a BASI trainer. Six years as BASI Chairman plus six years as BASI CEO. He has worked in ski schools all over the world teaching beginners to experts. “I love introducing people to snowsports and want them to have a life time love the skiing, as I do”
